In December 2015, the Advocacy Institute provided its first legislative training to local advocates and organizers in Buffalo, NY. After honing the advocacy skills of organizations based in NYC, AI is expanding its reach to the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and Western NY.

We’re building a statewide network of engaged advocates that can learn from each other and work across issues, sectors, and regions. In collaboration with local organizations across New York, AI will continue to support communities in shaping the legislative landscape for justice and dignity.
