The Advocacy Institute gives an overview of how a bill (really) becomes law at the state level, including issues to consider before drafting, how to select sponsors, and strategies for moving bills through committees and to the floor. By the end of the session, participants will know how to make the best case and put their best foot forward as they embark on a legislative campaign. We cover:

• Strategies for moving bills through committees and to the floor.
