Session 5: NYS Budget Process

This session provides a breakdown of the NY state budget process and provides campers confidence in talking about the process and understanding opportunities to advance policy goals through the budget. We will provide insights on the state budgeting process, including structure, state timelines,  different “types” of budget advocacy, and strategic opportunities to advance advocacy goals through the budget.
