The NYS Budget Process & Relationship Building

This session walked through the NYS budget process and provided advocates with an opportunity to power map the key players in their campaigns. We helped participants gain confidence in talking about the process and understand opportunities to advance policy goals through the budget. We also shared tips and helped advocates reflect on tactics to access the complicated web of relationships in Albany.
